4/8/2012 - Played west course which was very challenging. Hardest course played all week. Need local guidance to score well. Very enjoyable! Posted by Eddie (Trappe, PA)

4/10/2011 - The West course was unbelievably dry but a lot of fun with the super long driving possibilities. Good luck sticking it on the green though. The staff was generally courteous, even though if the course was empty they would not let me go out alone and they tried to put me on the course to suit their start times. No free practice balls either, had to pay for a bucket of balls that you drive into a lake! The carts were equipped with GPS yardage to center of the green. Overall a good experience. Posted by Dan

4/10/2011 - This was the groups favorite course. Very well maintained course and enjoyed by all. Posted by Frank (Delray Beach, FL)

12/30/2010 - Excellent round of golf. nice clubhouse, staff and course was groomed nicely. Posted by Michael (Glen Ridge, NJ)

3/5/2010 - Not a bad course to play. Posted by Kenneth (Buffalo, NY)

12/5/2009 - The fairways were weird. whenever I hit down on a shot a whole slew of black dirt came up which stopped my club. It seems you cannot hit down on these courses. Posted by Walter (Sudbury, Canada)

11/15/2009 - A must play is the East Course. Very challenging and the signature hole par 3 a very nice Picture Spot for you and your group. The par 4's are very long and you will have to use more often a Fairwaywood than usual. If you want to play both courses play the West before the East to warm up. The East Course is in impeccable condition. The kitchen in the clubhouse is outstanding and the staff very friendly. Posted by Florian.

3/14/2009 - We played 36 holes on the East Course. A lot of fun. A lot of challenge with water on 14 holes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Posted by Samuel (Manlius, NY)

2/13/2009 - Great course and attentive staff. Bring your game, this one makes you make some shots. Posted by Rhonda (Auburn, NH)

5/2/2008 - The first 18 holes (East) was very good but the last 18 holes (West) was terrible. Green was in very bad condition as well as the fairways. Posted by Robert (Mercier, Canada).

3/6/2008 - Nice course. Would like to play the East course next time. Posted by Amy (Rockville, MD).

This club has two outstanding eighteen hole courses. The East Course is the championship course and water comes into play on fourteen holes. The signature hole, #3, is a 173-yard, par 3, with a waterfall that stretches across the front of the green. The club hosts the Dixie Amateur and a Pro Family Tournament yearly. The West Course has less length and less water and one extra par 3 on each nine. The West Course is the easier of the two designs.

About Bonaventure West Course

Bonaventure Country Club features two separate and distinctive 18-hole championship golf courses. The courses are set on 300 acres of mature trees, lush vegetation and lakes, and are inhabited with a variety of wildlife. The courses are classic Florida layouts with holes routed through strands of mature palms and hardwoods, around numerous water hazards and expansive bunkers. Players of all skill levels will find a superb golfing challenge and experience.

The East Course is one of the top courses and most challenging layouts in South Florida, featuring water on 14 holes. Designed by renowned course architect Joe Lee, it is a par 72 that measures 7,001 yards from the blue tees. Tiger, Sergio and Jesper have all competed here. The nationally famous #3 waterfall hole was voted one of top 18 holes in South Florida, and the course has been voted one of the top ten in Florida you can play.

The West Course is a par 70 that measures 6,128 from the men's tees. It features two extra par 3's, with all holes playing average to long in length. The par 5's play 531, 545, 575 and 561 yards respectively. Do not let the yardage fool you, this is a challenging layout and you will use every club in your bag.

Bonaventure Country Club are in their best conditions ever, and have recently undergone $2.0 million in improvements including: new GPS on all carts, a new fleet of golf carts, renovated men's locker room (including new lockers), and numerous on-course beautification projects.
