4/27/2012 - Nice tough layout with lots of water.Conditions were a little rough due to lack of rain. Posted by Randy (Toronto, ON CANADA) 3/30/2012 - great Posted by Stephen (Larksville, PA) 3/24/2012 - Very nice course, staff was very helpful. Will play there again. Posted by Jim (Bethel Park, PA) 3/16/2012 -A great place. Posted by Andy (Johnstown, PA) 3/9/2012 - Nice course, got off on time, greens rolled nicely, great value. Posted by Bill (Plymouth, MA) 3/9/2012 - This was an extremely beautiful golf course that had lots of water on it. It was extremely challenging and had several holes on it were there was no bail-out area. It was not hard to lose a sleeve of balls during the round but it should be experienced by all. Posted by Bill (Brandon, MB CANADA) 3/9/2012 - Coarse is in great shape. Have played several times over the years. A must play for the price. Posted by (St. John'S, NL CANADA) 11/19/2011 - BEAUTIFUL COURSE ANDE GREAT CONDITION Posted by Robert (Jacksonville, FL) 10/17/2011 - This is one of the best courses I have played, the condition was great, I want to play this course again. Posted by Kim Westh () 10/3/2011 - Played this after Southen dunes in the morning,we thought this course was far better, holes were more interesting another recomendation from us. Posted by Edward (ML2 0NR Wishaw, UNITED KINGDOM) 4/7/2011 - Will be on our list again next year. Posted by John (Newfane, NY) 3/28/2011 - Great Golf course we have played this course every year for the past 3 years. Course is normally in great condition. Posted by Bob (Owensboro, KY) 3/12/2011 - first/warm-up round of the trip. For the price, not a bad value, but there was a lot of blind tee shots where hazards come into play. Posted by Matt (Avondale, PA) 3/11/2011 - Nice course, well conditioned. Sometimes there appears to be more water than landing places. Don't play this course in a 25-30 MPH wind. I'd like to play it again on a calm day. Posted by Larry (Springboro, OH) 3/4/2011 - good course to start out with. nothing out of the usual. lots of water and in good shape Posted by Tony (Youngstown, OH) 2/25/2011 - Course was challenging but rained most of the day. I would like to play again in nicer weather. Posted by James (Palmira, NJ) 12/11/2010 - Did not realize this was on a Dell Webb comunity, it was perfect! The greens were like glass, good challenging holes. My wife and I loved it! Posted by Tim (N. Olmstead, OH) 11/30/2010 - Nice course that played fair - would recommend Posted by John (Ellicott City, MD) 11/25/2010 - Played this course at the end of our visit greens were perfect wish we had played earlier would have revisited great course layout with some testing holes. Posted by Rob (England) 10/7/2010 - Fun. Well maintained. Enjoyed by our group. Good course for a scramble. Posted by John (St Petersburg, FL) 5/5/2010 - We felt this was the nicest scenic course we played on our short stay. The wildlife was great and made it hard to concentrate! The small gator on the side of the fairway was a nice touch. Posted by Chris (Barrie, Canada) 4/22/2010 - Course is not too bad, but that is the highest compliment I would give it. It gives you a warm "muni" feel. Posted by Vitaly (Merrimack, NH) 4/12/2010 - Cannot say enough good things about this course, the staff and the ownership!!! Fantastic all around course. Greens were an 11 on the meter after heavy rains so just imagine them dry!!! If you do not play this course you are missing a diamond in the rough !! Posted by Dale (Trenton, Canada) 4/3/2010 - The many bunkers added variety to this course. We would play it again. Posted by Susan (Amherst, MA) 4/2/2010 - Great value for money. Course in good shape. Greens very fast. Posted by William (Larkhall, United Kingdom) 4/2/2010 - We liked the course and layout. Excellent conditions and will play it again on next years trip. Posted by John (Newfane, NY) 3/4/2010 - Nice course, nice staff and a lot of water. The greens were like lightening. All in all worth the reduced price but not anything to write home about. It is a good mix of a course to help keep the costs down. Posted by Leonard. 2/26/2010 - Nice course in good shape. Water comes into play very often - so take enough balls with you. Good service at the reception. The restaurant has a little touch of a fast food restaurant feeling, but o.k.! Posted by Benedikt (Wuerzburg, Germany) 2/19/2010 - This is the second time we played at this course. It is a good course to play. Posted by Kwo (Lynnfield, MA) 1/29/2010 - Excellent service, friendly staff and the course and especially the greens were in great shape. Terrific value and we would definitely return. Posted by Thomas (Franklin, WI) 1/29/2010 - This was the best although not most expensive course that we played. The course was in very good shape, the greens very, very fast, but very even and fair. The landing areas were excellent and even some wayward shots could still be playable. We even did a replay at this course. Very reasonable, great clubhouse and the carts had GPS. Posted by Tim (Agusta, MI) 12/22/2009 - Great layout. Greens are some of the fastest played this year. A fair test from the tips. Posted by Shawn (White Plains, MD) 12/12/2009 - First time on this course too. The staff was not that fantastic. But the course was really nice, the layout and condition was really good. The greens were perhaps the best if we compare with the other courses we played during our holiday. Posted by Bengt (Svedala, Sweden) 12/6/2009 - Great condition but a very unfair test of golf. Very tight and nowhere to miss. Will not be added to the replay list. Posted by Harold (St. John's, Canada) 11/19/2009 - Not well received by one of the staff. Course design okay, fairways not great. Will not recommend. Posted by Serge (Marieville, Canada) 11/5/2009 - Very nice. Posted by Mike (Ridgefield, CT) 10/29/2009 - Nice golf course in great condition and with a real test given the amount of water and the tightness of the fairways. On the day we played it was cold and windy but it's good value for the money and we would return. Posted by Ian (Lancs, United Kingdom) 10/3/2009 - Beautiful setting with lots of water, and very challenging. Our group enjoyed this course. Posted by Gary (Clearwater, FL) 5/15/2009 - Nice course. Course was in good shape despite the extreme heat. Maybe the best we played. Posted by Bill (Brampton, ONTARIO CANADA) 4/16/2009 - Hadn't played this one for a few years and was impressed with the changes made. A decent track at a good price and excellent greens. Posted by Gary (Campbellville, ON CANADA) 4/9/2009 - Ten golfers, good opener course for our trip. Friendly staff, easy in & out, average course. Posted by John (Coldwater, OH) 4/3/2009 - Course was in very good shape. Needed to be able to hit to right landing areas or else. Lot's of work but a great place to play and be challenged. Posted by Gary (Leominster, MA) 4/3/2009 - Pretty open and in nice shape. Very enjoyable. Posted by Gary (Leominster, MA) 4/2/2009 - Great Course. Thank you. Posted by Frank (Stockton, IL) 3/31/2009 - This one is a keeper. Our group really enjoyed it. The staff was very accommodating and helpfull. The course was in good shape. Posted by Jessie (Detroit, MI) 3/28/2009 - Lots of hidden trouble. Least favorite of the four we played. Posted by Jim (Baldwinsville, NY) 3/26/2009 - Very nice course. Greens were fast...but true. Course was in good shape. Staff was helpful throughout the day. 3/20/2009 - Outstanding course and service. The free lunch at the turn was unexpected and delicious. The $10 coupon was great. Everything about this course was handled great. The best experience that we have had while doing our golf trips. Posted by Mike (Canton, OH) 3/19/2009 - This is the best course we played during our trip. I would recommend this course to anyone. The course was in great shape and the food was good. We will play this course again next year. Posted by Robert (Owensboro, KY) 3/9/2009 - Ridgewood is a great course with great service. We were treated exceptionally. I highly recommend this course and its staff. A+++ Posted by Les (Griffith, IN) 3/5/2009 - The course was too short as tees were moved up. It was also very crowded. There were good deals in the pro shop. Posted by (FLAGLER BEACH, FL) 2/27/2009 - The greens are the fastest and best we played. A lot of water on the course that comes into play. Very good course. Posted by Anthony (Robins, IA) 2/26/2009 - Good choice we made. The fastest greens of 6 courses we played. It is a hard course but beautiful. Posted by Jocelyn (Granby, Canada) 2/13/2009 - Nice layout, liked the course but the pace of play is terrible at this course. Both days it was in excess of 5 hours to play. Greens are nice but are contaminated. Posted by David (Richmond Hill, Canada) 1/29/2009 - We enjoyed this course very much although we would have liked a GPS. The conditions were very good. The course presents a fair challenge. Posted by Charles. 1/29/2009 - Have played here several times, courses is always in great condition. Posted by Larry. 1/29/2009 - As always, friendly staff, excellent course, great value. Posted by George (Marion, IA). 1/29/2009 - This course is pretty straight forward. Lots of water, you'll probably lose balls. Greens are fast. A good play, bit nothing exceptional. Posted by Louis (Chatam, NJ). 1/22/2009 - Good course, not great. Hamburgers are top notch! Posted by Tom (St. Clair Shores, MI). 12/18/2008 - A real treat. A great course. Posted by Richard (Troy, NY). 12/8/2008 - Great course, play it every year. Most holes have a water hazard in play. Good value. Posted by John (Midhurst, ON Canada) 12/8/2008 - If you like fast greens and lots of water hzzards....play here! We love this course and play it every year. Posted by Frank (Chesapeake, VA). 11/28/2008 - Excellent course. Tough and challenging. Posted by Steve (Port Sydney, Canada). 11/7/2008 - First time playing this course. I really liked this course, I will be playing this one again. Posted by Richard (Norwalk, CT). 5/19/2008 - Nice but nothing great. Posted by David (Philadelphia, PA). 5/11/2008 - Course was okay. Could use a little more watering. Posted by Robert (Port St Lucie, FL). 4/27/2008 - Okay. The course least enjoyed by the group. Posted by Michael (Scarsdale, NY). 4/12/2008 - This course has very tight fairways with lots of water. You need an accurate shot on every hole. The greens are super fast and very hard to judge and play. The course was in fair shape but unforgiveable which makes for a less enjoyable round of golf. Posted by Eric (Cheticamp, Canada). 4/3/2008 - Not very friendly - as an "over 55" community they seemed to resent "outsiders". Course could use some work. Posted by Thomas (Stony Point, NY). 4/3/2008 - Played 36 at Ridgewood Lakes. If you like very fast greens that challenge you to stay away from the three put, then this is your course. In other words, the greens are lightning fast. Other than the fast greens this course is a good value with great fairways with lots of water. Water on 16 of the 18 holes and they DO come into play on all 16. Very well taken care of and pleasing to the eye. Posted by Darrel (De Witt, IA). 3/29/2008 - Most of the higher handicapped in our group of 16 would prefer not to play this course again because of the amount of water. Posted by Al (Mineola, NY). 3/29/2008 - Great course! Posted by Ben (Grand Rapids, MI). 3/28/2008 - The course was in pretty good condition. This course is a little tough to start out on after not having played golf all winter. I would suggest playing this course on day two or three. The fairways are narrow and there is a lot of water lining them to collect your slices and hooks. Posted by William (Warren, OH). 3/27/2008 - Excellent course, very nice people to work with, although the pro shop did not see that a free bucket of balls was included on the voucher, they provided them anyways. Nice course to start the week off with, nice layout, well maintained, friendly staff. I highly recommend Ridgewood Lakes as an excellent place to enjoy the day. Posted by Bill (Avon, OH). 3/27/2008 - Much improved since our last visit three years ago. Good value for the price. Water, water everywhere. Posted by NH Golfers. 3/25/2008 - We have golfed here in the past and will be golfing here in the future. Great course and very nice staff. Posted by Dan (Welland, ON CANADA). 3/23/2008 - Great course and staff, very challenging with the number of holes with water. Smart play is a must here. Posted by Donovan (Bronx, NY). 3/13/2008 - Very nice course. Posted by Bill (Akron, OH). 3/12/2008 - Very good course. Fast, tough greens. Fun to play. Posted by Mike (Shelby Twp, MI). 3/12/2008 - Very nice course. Upscale. Will play again without hesitation. Posted by Albert (Jackson, MI). 3/12/2008 - Wonderful course treated us beautifully. Posted by Michael (Mcgregor, ON CANADA). 3/10/2008 - Very nice challenging course. We have played it before and liked it then also. Posted by William (Saginaw, MI). 3/6/2008 - Course in decent shape, good value course. Posted by David (Lansing, IL). 2/29/2008 - Had to be one of the premier courses on our trip. Very good course for all abilities. Posted by Ray (Fayette City, PA). 2/26/2008 - A really nice course. Very challenging with the significant amount of water. Posted by Glen (Burlington, Canada). 2/1/2008 - The third year that we have played Ridgewood and we will be there next year. The course is always in great shape and the entire staff is always cordial and accommodating. Posted by George (Marion, IA). 1/25/2008 - I enjoyed the golf course and the staff very much. This was very conveniently located from our location on International Drive. Posted by George (Beverly, MA). 12/12/2007 - This is our second year for playing Ridgewood Lakes. We really enjoy the amount of water that comes into play. Nice gated community with very nice staff. Posted by Frank (Chesapeake, VA). 12/2/7 - Great course. A little too challenging for the beginner golfers we had on our trip. Posted by Robin (Canada). 11/26/07 - Decent course challenge. Nicely maintained and reasonable price. Pace of play is good. Convenient location. Posted by Richard (Williamsville, NY). 11/12/07 - Second best course of the week. Greens had a bit of damage but was told they had been redone not long ago. Posted by Claude (Quebec, Canada). 11/19/07 - Enjoyed playing at this beautiful course. The employees were very helpful. 11/2/07 - Given the fact it had rained for about the prior 4 days, the course was in excellent condition. Tough layout with so much water, but certainly not unplayable. Would definitely go back again. Posted by Cliff (Shelton, CT). |
