Green are great, fairways near perfect and the 18th hole is one of the best finishing holes in golf, a par on this hole is comparable to a birdie on any other. Very friendly staff and great service, We drove 90-minutes (from Orlando) to get to this course and everyone felt it was well worth the drive. This is my favorite course to play when in the Daytona Beach area, I have never been disappointed in the course conditions (past 12-games). The Champions course is also in great condition and near perfect greens. We played 15-holes prior to darkness setting in. Posted by Calvin (Scarborough, ON CANADA) 12/2/2011 - The staff at the course could not have been any nicer. They went out of their way to make our trip pleasent. The cousrse was in very nice shape and a pleasure to play. Posted by James (Clinton Twp, MI) 12/2/2011 - The staff did everything they could to correct the situation we had. The rain came in the morning and delayed a large ladies tournament which put our group back by over an hour and half, which in turn did not allow 3 of our foursomes from finishing before dark. The course itself was great. Posted by James (Clinton Twp, MI) 12/1/2011 - Better than I expected and for the price......good deal Posted by Carl (Ste-therese, QC CANADA) 11/17/2011 - A fantastic facility, immaculate conditions & great layout for both courses... Posted by Warren (Norfolk UK) (NR14 8EN Norfolk, UNITED KINGDOM) 11/10/2011 - I liked both of the courses. They were in excellent shape and well maintained. We almost had the course to ourselves, and the staff was very friendly. Posted by David (Windsor Locks, CT) 10/7/2011 - Courses we wet from the recent rain and the Legends was closed for carts. We played the other course twice. Great course, great people. Legends has a junior girls tournament in the morning. Was great to see so many playing and that they have a support system for them such as the LPGA Posted by Robert (Bedford, NH) 5/13/2011 - Excellent course--great value. Very good condition. Lucky we played early before wind got bad. Posted by Frank (Gainesville, GA) 4/16/2011 - Superb course (The Legends)in pristine condition staffed by thoroughly professional people. This golf facility would be at the top of our list on any return trip to central Florida. Posted by Dennis (Plattsburgh, NY) 4/13/2011 - Very nice course. Worth the trip from Orlando. Well kept and challenging. Will certainly consider replaying on our next visit. Posted by James (Milford, MA) 4/7/2011 - The course was in great shape, really manicured. The fairways were flawless. The greens held the line but were slower than expected. Would return. Posted by David (Richmond, IN) 4/7/2011 - Fantastic course would never get bored playing this. The greens and fairways excellent! Posted by Alan (M19 1RW Manchester, UNITED KINGDOM) 3/30/2011 - Very nice course and very enjoyable to play. It is challenging Posted by Joseph (New Castle, PA) 3/20/2011 - Very nice, top shelf course and worth going. People very nice and accommodating. Posted by Terry 3/17/2011 - Played both courses same day. Our third time doing this. We love both courses even though they play a little tougher than others we've played. Always in great shape. Very friendly staff. Posted by Bill (Westfield, MA) 2/18/2011 - Best of all courses played, excellent shape. Posted by Bob (Anderson, SC) 1/6/2011 - Extrememly nice and worth the drive from Orlando - despite the cold on the day we played Posted by Jocelyn (Bedford, UNITED KINGDOM) 12/4/2010 - Very good condition and good value. Be prepared for a slow round if you are a two or three ball game. Posted by Geoffrey (UK) 11/19/2010 - They could not honor my tee time. But we found a work around and it played great. Posted by Thomas (Hillsborough, NJ) 8/6/2010 - The booking, the rates, the details and, of course, the courses, were fantastic. We plan to use Tee Times for our trip to Destin next month. Posted by Martha (Palm City, FL) 7/31/2010 - Nice course. Plays very long and in great condition. Posted by Richard (Barefoot Bay) 6/7/2010 - Highly recommend visit. Excellent facilities with very helpful staff. Legends course was beautiful and good test. Champions course had less spectacular holes with more bunkers. Both courses in excellent condition. Good clubhouse facilities. Would visit again. Posted by David (Motherwell, United Kingdom) 6/3/2010 - Beautiful course in perfect condition. Played the Legends course. Nice staff and facility. Will play again. Posted by Mike (Libertyville, IL) 5/21/2010 - Very playable. Unfortunately it rained as we got there and were delayed one hour, but the resort was very accomadating and told us to check back with them after lunch. We did and we were able to go out immediately. I would recommend this course. I thank Tee Times USA for setting this up for me and my wife. Posted by Charles (Boca Raton, FL) 4/15/2010 - Great course. Accommodating staff. By far the best course we played on this trip. Posted by Carl (Murfreesboro, TN) 4/13/2010 - Very challenging course and excellent facitities. Staff was very courteous. Great deal. Play Champions course. Posted by Jami (Gahanna, OH) 2/19/2010 - As always, course was in fantastic shape and was a joy to play. LPGA is in our golf trip rotation each year and will continue to be. A must play course and with superior service and staff. Posted by Randy (Pawleys Isl, SC) 1/29/2010 - Played each of two courses. They were wonderful. We'd like to see them when the grass is green. Posted by Robert (Hilton Head Island, SC) 1/28/2010 - Good course, but not as good as I expected. Staff was excellent, practice area very good. 3.5* Posted by Gary (Keswick, VA) 12/24/2009 - Champions an excellent golf course. But, Legends was above and beyond expectations. Very affordable. Posted by Jack. 12/22/2009 - Played the Legends Course and really liked it. Will attempt to play again next time. Fair course but punishes mistakes so bring your game. Posted by Don (Houston, TX) 5/30/2009 - Excellent golf course. Everything was in tip top shape. One of the best plaves to play. Posted by Robert (Green Cv Spgs, FL) 4/29/2009 - Played the Legends Course. Well maintained, but the layout wasn't unforgettable. Best part were the greens. Might skip this one next time. Posted by James (Avon Lake, OH) 5/20/2008 - Nicest course ever! People were really happy that we were there. We played the harder course, Legacy, and it was perfect. Posted by Cheryl (Venice, FL). 5/20/2008 - One of the finest courses we have played. The Champions is enjoyable and challenging at the same time. Great facilities, great fairways and greens. Friendly staff. Posted by Thomas (Snyder, NY). 4/25/2008 - Great layout in excellent condition. Also have three practice holes you can play as many times as you like for $25. Practice holes were in excellent condition as well. Posted by Chris (Tampa, FL). 4/12/2008 - Played both courses. Champions very good but Legends was incredible! Just a remarkable layout and challenging. Both in great shape with friendly staff. Posted by Bill (Flagler Beach, FL). 4/3/2008 - Nice course but overpriced. Posted by Leroy (Manning, SC). 3/30/2008 - Played both courses. Enjoyed Champions more but both very good. Carries on legends were too long for my wife and there were no bail out areas. Posted by Roger (Barnard Castle, United Kingdom). 3/29/2008 - Played both courses. In great condition. Posted by Mark (Palmdale, CA). 3/20/2008 - Exceptional facility as you would expect. Perfectly groomed and easy to get around with plenty of challenge from tee to green. Posted by Steven (Bradford, Canada). This facility offers two eighteen hole championship courses. The Champions Course is home of the Mercury Titleholders Championship Tournament, one of the richest events on the LPGA Tour. The fairways are mostly wide open and have strategic mounding that can cause uneven lies. There are lakes and tranquil wetlands coming into play on several holes. This links-style course was built on somewhat hilly terrain. The greens are exceptionally large and undulating, and there are many sand and grass bunkers incorporated into the course's design. The most difficult hole to play for the ladies is #13, a 478-yard, par 5, featuring a straightaway, well-bunkered fairway and water protecting the green. "Golf for Women" rated this #1 among "America's Best Women-Friendly Golf Courses." The newer Legends Course, designed by Arthur Hills, offers a spectacular layout with tree-lined fairways and greens surrounded by beautiful magnolias, tall pines and century-old oaks. |
