11/26/2010 - Wow what a suprise. What a great course and friendly staff. We played 27 holes and loved it! Posted by Michael (Philadelphia, PA) 2/5/2010 - Friendly staff. Good course. Played from the blues and was a good challenge. Very good shape. Posted by Allan (Oakland, NJ) 5/7/2009 - We have played there before. It is ok. Not in the league with the President CC. The people were lovely and the pro shop had good sales. The course is ok. Next time I would like to play more courses like the President. Posted by Judy (New City, NY) 2/27/2009 - Great golf for the dollars. Greens were in great shape but a little slow. We will be back next year for sure. This would have been a much more enjoyable course if there were yardage markers. Even a prism system for lasers would greatly speed play and make course more enjoyable. Posted by Steven (Fort Wayne, IN) 1/22/2009 - Have forward tees that they do not rate but the course is a true test and somewhat long at 6000+ plus for "seniors". Staff was friendly and the course was in good shape. Posted by Joseph (Conway, SC). 12/4/2008 - Very challenging course. Extremely windy conditions which made course play even longer. Four sets of tees. Excellent condition and nice driving range. Pace of play was slow due to the conditions. Highly recommend for a golfer seeking a challenge. Wide fairways, long course, difficult approaches, and challenging greens. Posted by James (Weston, MA). 3/25/2008 - Very happy with everything. Posted by Joseph (Newark, DE). 2/1/2008 - Excellent choice for mid to high handicappers. Posted by Peter (Garden City, NY). This course is fairly wide open, featuring young trees lining all the fairways. There are several water hazards and a defined cut of rough that forces golfers to make accurate shots. Many of the greens and tee boxes are elevated. There are some multi-tiered greens on the course, but the majority of them are heavily undulating and seasonally run from average to fast in speed. The signature hole is #17, a 160-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a peninsula-shaped green. All the greens on this course are three to four times larger than your average-sized green in Florida. |
